Olympian Anna Hall is a track and field star.

Her life revolves around setting goals and breaking records on the track. Although she takes her career seriously, she is noted for her fun and unique approach to major events. She drinks grape juice for good luck, eats candy between races and often dances around to keep loose.

The heptathlete’s motivation to keep performing at a high level? Her family. Her father, David Hall, played multiple sports in college, including track and field. Anna is close with both her father and her mother, Ronette Hall.

They are often supporting her at her events, and her Instagram is filled with family photos and videos. Anna posts to celebrate their birthdays each year and always shares photos of them at her competitions.

Anna has often shared that her parents are her number one support system. Here's everything to know about Anna Hall's parents, David and Ronette Hall.

David and Ronette share four daughters, Kara, Julia, Anna and Lauryn Hall. The eldest three daughters have been involved in sports since they were kids. Eventually, Julia and Anna would go to the same college in Georgia, where they both performed in track and field.

“We were always around sports, and especially because I was younger than my sisters, I always saw them doing soccer and track,” Anna told Red and Black, a publication connected to the University of Georgia. “I was, from a really, really young age, just always trying to catch up and get involved.”

When they were younger, there was more competition. Now, they share a mutual respect for one another.

Her father was a college football player

Anna and her sibling's passion for sports came from their father, David, who was a college athlete. He was a quarterback at the University of Michigan, where he also played basketball and ran track and field, per Florida Gators, another school Anna attended.

He ran the decathlon in the 1980s, setting a record for his school with his performance, which inspired her to compete in the heptathlon, which is a seven-event race.

Her dad always knew she was going to be a sports star

David's sports experience made him an easy supporter of his daughter's career. He knew she was going to be a star from a young age.

"[From] age 12 to 14, I started noticing the combination of her focus and enjoyment for track, and then a will to win," he said. "Then after eighth grade and high school, it became very noticeable to those around her to see how much she seemed to embrace track and the grind."

David and Ronette supported her through a major injury

During her college career, Anna sustained a devastating injury when she broke a Navicular bone in her foot. She had a lot of anxiety making her way back into the sport after having to miss the Tokyo Olympics. However, her parents were there to help her through it all.

David was there to cheer her on as she made her return to the track for the University of Florida.

"From my perspective, I think the fit has really been a blessing for her and accentuated her performance,'' he told the school's publication. "She has always been very focused on goals and works hard to achieve them. She did it in high school, did it at Georgia. She loves it. That's the other thing you can't miss about it. She loves being at the track."

They support her on Instagram

On Instagram, Anna is often posting about the support from her parents, especially following big race days. Following her injury, Anna posted a compilation of her recovery time and her return to the sport.

She captioned the video, “Just my reminder why this szn & the people behind it will always be so special to me❤️ delayed but never denied… we’re not done yet :).” In the video, she showed moments with her parents, including a time when the three of them shared a hug following a race.

Anna also posts about their support each year on their birthdays. For her dad's birthday in 2019, she wrote, "Happy birthday dad!! thanks for being my coach and forever best friend...there will never be a #trackdad that does it better than you 🙌🏽 i love you SO much! "
