Here's a closer look at Pippa Middleton's wedding ring
Pippa Middleton and James Matthews are officially married - and with that comes pomp, circumstance, celebration and some new bling. We've long admired the bride's antique Asscher cut engagement ring from British jeweller Robinson Pelham, but we spotted her new wedding band beneath her small clutch of blooms as she was exiting St. Marks Church in Berkshire.
While it's hard to be sure until we get a bouquet-less shot, it seems that Pippa paired her engagement ring with a simple, traditional yellow gold band, which in some cultures is customary for religious ceremonies to mark the pure, unmarked, unbreakable bond between a couple. For those couples who choose to abide by this sentimental tradition, the ceremony band is usually followed up by an even more impressive (read: diamond or precious stone) wedding band as well. We're looking forward to keeping an eye on Mrs. Matthews left hand in the coming weeks.
