Apple To Launch New iPad And Smaller iPhone On March 15

Apple will launch its latest round of devices, including the new iPad Air 3 and 4-inch ‘iPhone 5se’ at an event on 15 March, according to 9to5mac.com.

The smaller handset, dubbed the iPhone 5se, will provide an update for iPhone 5s users who feel that Apple’s flagship handsets are too large.

The new phone will reportedly have a faster chip along with support for Apple Pay contactless payments.

The new iPad Air 3 will mark the first update to Apple’s mid-sized tablet since the launch of the iPad Air 2 back in 2014.

Along with better built-in speaker, the new tablet is expected to benefit from an improved camera as well as inheriting some of the features from the super-sized iPad Pro, which was launched in 2015.

The Cupertino-based tech firm is also expected to unveil new colours for the Apple Watch wrist bands range at its event on the ’Ides of March’.

The iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2 are predicted to land in September.

Apple has yet to officially confirm the date, but 9to5mac.com has a good record at reporting when its events will happen.
