Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's Divorce Is Finalized More Than 1 Year After Split
The pop star and real estate broker agreed on the terms of the divorce settlement in October 2023
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's marriage has officially come to an end.
On Tuesday, Grande, 30, and 28-year-old Gomez's divorce was granted in a Los Angeles Superior Court, the Associated Press reported.
Court papers confirmed the couple — whom PEOPLE previously reported had separated in early 2023 — had a prenuptial agreement, didn't have any children and had no significant legal disputes amid the separation, allowing the divorce proceedings to move along quickly.

The pair agreed on the terms of the settlement in October, but were awaiting a judge to sign off. At the time, it was revealed Grande would pay Gomez $1,250,000, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. It was also revealed Gomez would not receive spousal support as his tax-free payment would be granted upfront as opposed to over time.
Per the terms of their agreement, it was confirmed Gomez would also receive half of the net proceeds from the sale of their former Los Angeles home, in addition to Grande covering up to $25,000 of his attorney fees.
The settlement came after PEOPLE confirmed in September that Grande had filed for divorce. Gomez filed a response immediately after.
The date of separation was listed as Feb. 20, 2023, but news of the couple's separation broke in July 2023. A source told PEOPLE at the time that Grande and Gomez were "taking their time together to slowly work through the details of the agreement privately."

The now exes began dating in January 2020 and made their relationship official when they appeared together in the music video for Grande's song with Justin Bieber, "Stuck with U" in May of that year. They announced their engagement in December 2020 when Grande posted a photo of her ring along with the caption, "Forever n then some."
Dalton and Gomez later tied the knot at the "thank u, next" singer's Montecito, California home on May 15, 2021. "It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people," her rep told PEOPLE exclusively at the time. "The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier."
Following news of Grande and Gomez's split sources confirmed to PEOPLE in July 2023 that Grande was dating her Wicked costar Ethan Slater, 31. Slater was previously married to Lilly Jay, whom he shares a young son with.
