Arizona Man Arrested for Racially Abusing YouTuber

A Scottsdale, Arizona, man was arrested, charged and fired from his job, according to local media, after he was caught on camera using a racial slur against two black men on October 23.

Andre Abram filmed footage that showed a man, later identified as Paul Ng, approaching whilst Abram was filming his YouTube video.

“Do you know a lot of white men are doing racist things on this world, sir?” Abram can be heard asking the question when Ng confronts him.

“I’m a racist. This is a no-n***** zone,” Ng said.

Abram later asks Ng to step away. Ng can be heard repeatedly saying, “no-n***** zone” in the video as Abram continues to record.

“I’m not here to cause problems, I just came here to shoot my video. This is a public road. And he came to me and said this is no-n***** zone,” Abram says in another video that he posted on his YouTube channel after the incident.

Local media reported Ng was arrested by Scottsdale Police and faced disorderly conduct charges after the video went viral.

Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty in Scottsdale posted a statement on its Instagram page outlining that it had terminated Ng’s involvement with the company and would recommend to the Arizona Department of Real Estate that Ng’s license be revoked. Credit: Andre Abram via Storyful
