The last school bell of the season rung in the occupied territories under the eyes of armed Russian officers from Russia's Investigative Committee, Ukraine's National Resistance Center (NRC) reported on June 2.

Russian security forces were attached to each operational school in the occupied territories, and each graduation program was coordinated with school leadership. According to the NRC, the events were marked with a preponderance of Russian propaganda.

Even the songs played during school graduation ceremonies had to be agreed with Russian security service representatives, the NRC added.

The Kremlin plans to introduce a single graduation program for all schools in the future, the NRC said.
