Hello, everyone! With one day until Election Day, we're back for our final round of BuzzFeed's 2024 Election Diaries!

This weekly series highlights different groups of voters nationwide to find out what political issues are most important to them AND who they plan to support for president in 2024.

We recently released a post focused on diving into the minds of male voters, and it got A LOT of responses, so we're bringing you some more.

Whether you agree or not, here's what 16 men had to say about their stance on the 2024 election:

1."I voted Republican the majority of my life. I voted for Trump in 2016 because I didn't like the Clintons (I still don't). Bill had too many skeletons in that closet, and I didn't want him or his wife back in the White House. I knew Trump was a problem but hoped he would be tempered by those around him. After the past eight years, I'm now fully blue. This man has done more to undermine the basic tenets of democracy in his time as a politician than any who have come before."

2."I'm 62, a girl dad, and a grandfather. I've been a conservative my entire life. Being president, for me, is an issue of character. One of the traits is that if you're hired to do a job, you do it! Trump has failed to do this his entire life."

3."All Harris has to do to win the Arab vote back is to stop arming Israel, but she's not willing. The DNC wouldn't allow a Palestinian speaker on stage. The House and Senate are full of anti-Palestinian bias that no one does anything about, but they're quick to censure Rep. Tlaib for nothing. Kamala cares more about AIPAC money than potential voters. When she loses Michigan, they'll be quick to point the finger at the Arab voters, but if their vote matters so much, why are they being disregarded and disrespected? Stopping the shipment of weapons that are clearly being used to commit war crimes and in violation of US and international laws seems like a fairly reasonable ask. Vote third party, plain and simple. They actually care."

4."In this election, I’m voting on abortion and women’s rights. Kamala Harris has a positive outlook for the future, focuses on education and social issues, and has a reasonable approach to issues as opposed to constant lies and demonizing people. Trump had an embarrassing four years, botched his response to COVID, and denied the election results with no evidence. For these and many other reasons, I would never vote for him."

5."This shouldn't even be a toss-up, according to the latest polls. This is about right and wrong. I grew up in a very conservative family, and we were a Republican family. My mother and father were practicing Catholics and very caring and giving people. We were brought up with those same values. Only one family member strayed from those values and became self-centered and selfish, just like Donald Trump. I went from a registered Republican to an Independent the day after Trump incited the insurrection. Donald Trump has no business being anywhere near the White House. He is one of the worst human beings that I've seen in my 65-plus years on this earth. I'm voting for Kamala and Tim."

I align with her views on empowering the middle class, maintaining our standing as a world power, and stabilizing our economy while protecting our freedoms and rights. All I see from the other side are lies to stoke fear and no real policy to back up any of their claims of how to solve our issues.”

7."I'm voting for Trump to end wokeness. I grew up as a Democrat; my father was an electrician, and I actually walked the picket line with him when I was 10 years old. But the Democratic Party of the 1960s–1980s is gone. They used to represent the hardworking backbone of America. Today, they lean way too far left into wokeness. Race-baiting, supporting BLM rioters, open borders, and tuition forgiveness do not make any sense to me. We do need to think more about America first and stop sending weapons and our tax dollars overseas. Kamala's tried to move to the center for the last six months, but I'm not buying it."

8."It's crazy how quickly so-called liberals will turn around and call you slurs for not supporting Harris. The democratic party has become as much of a cult as MAGA. Maybe if Kamala spent more time listening to the Democratic voters that she's lost for going all in on Biden’s war on babies, doctors, and journalists instead of trying to win over Republicans, she'd stand a better chance. It's like she's actively trying to lose. Anyway, vote for Claudia De La Cruz or Jill Stein. Not being Trump is no longer a valid reason to vote blue no matter who when people are being murdered by our tax dollars. She can listen, or she can lose."

9."I'm in my 70s and retired and can truthfully say that there are many issues/policies that we could debate: economy, abortion, gun control, immigration, wars in Europe, etc., but to me, there is really only ONE criterion for selection of our next president — and that is character. Being a law-abiding, honest, truthful patriot to our country comes before any other issue. Trump has none of these qualities. In one sense, you could say he is a traitor due to violating the oath of office he took eight years ago when he was sworn in as president. Now, he actually wants to tear up our constitution. Heaven help us!"

10."Her policy proposals, including making the ultrawealthy and corporations pay their fair share, boosting the small business and child tax credits, covering home health for people on Medicaid, and investing in affordable housing, all seem like better moves to improve my life. I don't see how Trump's policies of tax cuts for the rich, tariffs on everyday goods, and undermining the Affordable Care Act would make my life any better."

11."I want a leader who wants to bring America back to bipartisanship. Kamala Harris is a real person. As a Christian, I see her genuine faith. I see that she knows the separation of church and state is a cornerstone of our country."

12."Character matters. Donald Trump is an abomination. His character is vile, and he does not care about anyone but himself. Kamala represents all the great qualities of a leader: trustworthiness, compassion, selflessness, and willingness to compromise for the greater good."

13."Keeping Donald Trump out of office and taming the GOP rhetoric is my top priority. We need real leadership. Donald Trump is hung up on how much power he should have. He does not put America first with his now-revealed relationship with Dictator Putin and Dictator Xi. He is simply trying to get the office to get retribution for what he perceives as a witch hunt."

14."I've voted for Kamala Harris. All the negatives I've heard about her come from staunch Republicans with no credible evidence, only empty judgments which come from Trump. 'She's dumb,' She's weak,’ ‘She'll destroy our country.’ However, about half of Trump's cabinet, who worked closely with him and knew him best, say he's not fit to be president. His vice president, former president, Bush, his attorney Bill Barr, etc., would not endorse him for president. This should tell us something. On the other hand, I'm not aware of any Democrat saying the same about Kamala."

15."I was at a Kamala rally just yesterday, and I said to my mom that I hoped she would talk about trans issues. My mom told me that while Harris and Walz are pro-trans, they can't talk about it, or they'll lose votes. Even if that's true, it's bullshit. I'm trans, and I'm 17, so I can't vote in the election that will literally decide whether or not I get to live. This issue needs to be more talked about on this side. I'm so damn tired of all the fucking shit I hear about trans people and hearing hardly any response in opposition. If Trump wins, I could literally get fucking killed, and I get to have no say in that. People need to stop fucking ignoring us.”

16."I’m a 76-year-old boomer, retired Air Force officer, and a retired teacher. For 55 years, I was a registered Republican, but I am no longer. I can find no redeeming social value in Donald Trump and the people who blindly follow him — vote blue up and down the ticket."
