Update: Authorities locate Bellingham girl who was last seen by family Nov. 27
Update (3:30 p.m. Nov. 29): The MIPA alert was canceled soon after it was issued. The WSP update says the girl was located. The girl’s name has been removed from the initial article, presented below:
The Washington State Patrol issued a Missing Indigenous Person Alert (MIPA) on Friday for 14-year-old Bellingham girl.
The girl left her house around 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27. near Undine Street in Bellingham. Authorities believe she was in the Bellingham area Nov. 28 but since then her location is unknown.
She is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black sweatpants with “Los Angeles” written on the leg.
Anyone with information regarding her location is encouraged to call 911. WSP issued the MIPA on behalf of the Bellingham Police Department.
