Avalanche Narrowly Misses Skiers in Austria

On March 23, a group of skiers witnessed an avalanche pass by them just north of Innsbruck, Austria.

Thomas Schroll, the managing director of the Innsbruck Nordkettenbahnen, said that the skiers were around 20 meters away from the path of the avalanche, and that the snow was deposited into a basin created by staff to help handle excess snow during high risk avalanche periods.
