Avril Lavigne rocks a daring 'punk-chic' outfit in 'tour transformation' video
Avril Lavigne is bringing punk fashion to a new level.
On Monday, the 37-year-old singer-songwriter took to TikTok to post a playful video of her "tour transformation."
In the 11-second clip, the Canadian punk princess stood at the door of her tour bus in a black sweatsuit and fuzzy pink slippers. Her song "Love It When You Hate Me" played in the background, and she lip-synched the words while smiling and pointing at the camera.
As the video progressed, Lavigne went back inside the bus only to re-open the doors a second later in a stunning stage-ready look.
For her second more glamorous ensemble, the "Girlfriend" songstress wore black boots, a sparkly sheer camisole and a leather mini skirt with silver detailing. For glam, the star rocked her signature smoky eye with heavy eyeliner while her pin-straight dip-dyed strands fell to her midsection.
"Tour transformation. Getting ready for the show," she captioned the video.
In the comments, fans praised Lavigne's "punk-chic" style and expressed their love for her regular TikTok videos.
"Tour bus queen," wrote a follower, while another added, "an icon."
"I watched your show in Portland, Oregon a few days ago. I can’t wait to see you again," a fan told Lavigne. "Your stage presence and fashion sense is next level, I absolutely love this punk-chic look you've got going on!"

The multi-platform artist and Juno award winner is currently on the American leg of her "Love Sux" tour with fellow artist Machine Gun Kelly. Although the singer is at the top of her musical game, she admitted the rise to stardom wasn't as easy as anticipated.
"I had to figure out my style. I knew what I wanted and I loved the guitar and the electric guitar ... and I wanted to rock out. I also really wanted to write my songs," Lavigne told Euphoria magazine. "It was a challenge of finding people to co-write songs with and to produce the album that understood my vision."
