Over the weekend, the "Sk8r Boi" singer spent some time with a few fellow Canadian music icons, including country legend Shania Twain, following her Sunday night set at Boots & Hearts Music Festival.
Twain took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of herself hugging Lavigne, paired with a video of Lavigne and "Stuttering" singer, Fefe Dobson, dancing to a live performance of her song, "Any Man Of Mine."
"Look who came to @bootsandhearts!" Twain, 56, captioned the post. "I'm so happy I got to spend some time with @avrillavigne yesterday. So fun to see the videos of the girls partying side of the stage, love it!"
Lavigne replied to the photo, commenting: "Shania - You put on the most spectacular show of all time! So wonderful to spend time together."
Lavigne, originally from Napanee, Ont., also shared a carousel of snaps from the Canadian, star-studded weekend.
"What an incredible weekend of music and friends," the 37-year-old singer captioned the post, which included photos of herself posing with Drake, and Lil Wayne at their Young Money reunion show with Nicki Minaj on Saturday in Toronto, Nelly Furtado at Lady Gaga, and of course, Twain.
The photos were quickly met with applause from fans who dubbed it "a Canadian dream come true" to see them all together.
"TBH, this is exactly what I needed to see today. My inner child is happy. This is a Canadian dream come true. Love to see it," one Instagram user commented.
"Avril, Shania, Drake, Nelly and Fefe. All Canadian legends!" someone added.
Another chimed in: "Two Canadian icons."
"OMG The photo op I didn’t know I needed!" wrote another.
"So many Canadian icons in one post!" one person pointed out.
"We need Shania Twain ft. Avril Lavigne!" someone suggested.
