Yesterday while everyone was doom scrolling through Instagram, Gwen Stefani went ahead and posted some happy news: she and Blake Shelton are! officially! engaged! See, look, we got a ring pic and everything:

The only thing is, neither Blake nor Gwen posted any details about how the proposal went down, so TG for the tea-spilling sources that spoke to Us Weekly. According to an insider, “Blake had the ring custom-designed, and asked permission from her dad before asking Gwen." And apparently, "It meant so much to Gwen that Blake was so traditional about it.”

And speaking of traditional, another source says that Blake did the whole getting down on one knee thing while popping the question in Oklahoma a few days before they announced the news to fans.

As a reminder, Gwen and Blake started dating after meeting on set of The Voice back in 2015. A source previously said that "Blake has wanted to take his time with marriage" but that the couple were super committed. Clearly the time for time-taking ran out (idk), because that ring looks pretty damn official.
