Ayo Edebiri and Rachel Sennott Are Friendship Goals at New York Fashion Week

Ayo Edebiri and Rachel Sennott are proving that their on-screen chemistry is just as fun — and fashionable — off-screen.

The two Bottoms actors and writers looked as chic as ever sitting front row on Saturday at the Proenza Schouler Spring 2024 ready-to-wear show in New York City. Arriving at the Phillips headquarters on Park Avenue in Manhattan, Edebiri and Sennott wore sleek pieces from the latest collection.

Edebiri was dressed in a classic oversized suit complete with a white button-up shirt that was open at the bottom, along with slouchy trousers and a matching blazer. The actor paired the look with black pointed-toe boots. Sennott's outfit contrasted perfectly with Edebiri's more masculine outfit, as she wore a white Cottagecore dress with white ballet slippers.

The two sat front row, of course, and were seated with the director of Bottoms and Shiva Baby, Emma Seligman. Sennott starred in both films. They were also joined by Sennott's Bodies, Bodies, Bodies co-star Chase Sui Wonders and Edebiri's The Bear co-star Molly Gordon.

The front row containing Hollywood's newest “It Girls” was an exciting sight for any film and TV lover. Sennott, who is a comedian and actor, has risen to fame since her film debut in Seligman's Shiva Baby. Edebiri has been incredibly successful in her own right, after getting widespread notoriety from FX's hit show, The Bear — playing a stressed-out but highly skilled chef opposite of Jeremy Allen White's character. She and Sennott have since gained critical acclaim for the queer high school comedy, Bottoms, which premiered in limited theaters last month. The film also stars model Kaia Gerber, Nicholas Galitzine, Marshawn Lynch, and more.

The Proenza Schouler show brought in many other stars, including Sofia Richie Grainge, Pamela Anderson, and more. Both Edebiri and Sennott have also made appearances at other NYFW events including Dion Lee and Rodarte.
