B.C. reduces self-isolation requirement

British Columbia has reduced the requirement to self-isolate after testing positive for COVID-19 to five days for fully vaccinated people without symptoms. In response to surging cases of the Omicron variant, provincial health officer Dr. Henry also says visits to long-term care facilities will be limited to essential visitors only until at least Jan. 18.
