B.C. truck driver and rig go missing en route to Alberta

Police say a Langley, B.C., man who left Thursday morning driving a transport truck to Airdrie, Alta., has gone missing.

RCMP Cpl. Holly Marks said John Oswell left Langley at around 8:30 a.m. PT on Apr. 17.

He was last heard from a few hours later, at 11:30 a.m. PT.

He did not arrive at his intended destination, and police are asking for the public's help in locating the man.

Police released a photo of Oswell, and a picture of a truck that is similar to the one he was driving.

The licence plate on the missing transport truck is 04876P, and the trailer plate is 19639D. Both are British Columbia plates.
