Bake Off 2023 reveals Party Week elimination
The Great British Bake Off series 14 spoilers follow.
Tonight (Tuesday, November 14) The Great British Bake Off said a Party Week goodbye to Cristy following a tense quarter-final.
With just five bakers remaining in the competition, the contestants were tasked with creating one of Judge Paul Hollywood's favourite foods – sausage rolls.
At judging, while most of the bakers failed to impress, Matty's sausage rolls gained him a handshake from Paul who called them "delicious". "I never thought about getting a handshake, it kind of took me by surprise," Matty said.

Next up, it was the Technical challenge. Set by Paul, bakers had to make a chocolate caterpillar cake – a staple at birthday parties throughout the UK.
Ranking last in the Technical was Dan's caterpillar cake which was followed by Josh's in fourth place. Matty was next and Cristy took second place. Coming in first place was Tasha's "decent" caterpillar cake with host Noel Fielding's face.
For the Showstopper, bakers were given an 'anything but beige' buffet challenge where they had to make a mixture of sweet and savoury party bakes.
Josh's Christmas-themed buffet included what judge Prue Leith called "perfectly piped" snowman macarons, Christmas pudding choux buns and wreath couronne. "Josh, I think you've done really well, it's hard to fault anything," Prue told the baker.
Cristy's Willy Wonka buffet was described as "rough and ready" by Paul while Matty's sports buffet included some "delicious" cricket ball pies.

Tasha's Farmyard Party buffet was called "underwhelming" by Paul and the judges thought Dan took on too much work for his prehistoric-themed display.
Announcing the baker who was leaving the famous white tent, Alison said Cristy would not be making it to the semi-finals.
"It's been such a crazy, fast-paced experience. So now I can sit back and reflect on what an amazing time I've had," Cristy said. "I'm really proud to have got this far."
Star Baker this week was Matty, who said: "I wasn't expecting that, I had an amazing week. The handshake, the Star Baker."
The Great British Bake Off and its spin-off Bake Off: An Extra Slice both air on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
