"If I've learnt anything it is to embrace every step of the Bake Off journey and not to underbake your biscuits."

Week one of the baking competition saw Amos eliminated from the show — with The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice guest Stephen Mangan later revealing he and Amos had a personal connection.
"I know one of the bakers. I had no idea they were in it when they came on. Amos worked at a deli for years on my street," Mangan said on the show.
"I'd see him all the time, so as soon as he came up I was like, 'Amos! I am going to enjoy watching you over the next few weeks'. And it wasn't to be — it's an outrage.”
The Great British Bake Off airs on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show and streams on Netflix.
