The Great British Bake Off series 14 spoilers follow.

The Great British Bake Off 2023's latest eliminated baker has called the show a "rollercoaster" in a goodbye note following her Dessert Week exit.

Tuesday's (November 7) episode proved to be a tough week for all of the bakers, with co-host Noel Fielding describing the Technical challenge as a "car crash".

Following the disastrous Technical and underwhelming Showstopper, judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith had some tough decisions to make. In the end, they chose Saku to leave the tent.

Penning a farewell message to fans, Saku wrote: "What a rollercoaster ride it was!!"

"Since I submitted my bake-off application just few hours before the deadline until the day I left the big white tent in week 7, I had the most wonderful experience (and terrifying too) in my life," she continued.

Saku went on to say that she has "gained lifelong friendships with 11 amazingly talented bakers and one very special interpreter", referring to Tasha's British Sign Language interpreter, Daryl.

Saku also praised Paul, Prue, Noel and co-host Alison Hammond, writing that she has been "judged by 2 most knowledgeable judges" and "had the best fun with 2 most cheeky presenters".

She even gave a shoutout to the Bake Off crew, saying she "received love and support from a big bunch of crew".
