Former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield doesn’t want to hear Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger knock his former Sooner teammate’s combine performance.

Ehlinger took a shot at ex-OU offensive lineman Orlando Brown’s 14 bench press reps at the combine when complimenting a teammate’s strength improvements earlier in the week.

Mayfield was asked at his pro day about what Ehlinger tweeted. His response was classic.

“He’s never beaten Lake Travis [High School] and he’s also never beaten OU, so I’ll leave it at that,” Mayfield said.

When you come at Mayfield and his teammates, you have to be prepared for a comeback. Just ask Kansas. Or Baylor.

College football is really going to miss Mayfield. In case you were wondering, Brown benched 18 reps of 225 pounds at OU’s pro day.
