BBC and ITV confirm Euros 2024 coverage schedule
Broadcasters BBC and ITV have confirmed their coverage schedule for the 2024 Euros tournament.
The UEFA European Football Championship, which was won in 2020 by Italy (who beat England in a penalty shootout), will kick off on Friday, June 14.
Its full schedule has been revealed following a draw at the weekend between BBC and ITV, with the latter receiving first picks for round of 16 and the semi-finals.
The Euros' opening match will be Germany V Scotland in Munich, on ITV, who will also show England v Slovenia in the final group match. Other notable matches broadcast on ITV include the winner of Play-off A, which could be Wales, against Austria, in Group D on June 21.
ITV will also broadcast the Group B match between Spain, who are among the favourites, and Italy, the holders. Also, France [against Austria on June 17] as well as Portugal [v Turkey on June 22], Croatia [v Spain on June 15] and Belgium [v Slovakia on June 17].
In the knockout rounds, ITV will have the first three picks, plus the fifth and seventh picks from the Round of 16 ties, the second and fourth Quarter-final picks and first pick of the Semi-finals.

BBC-wise, the broadcaster also has some heavy-hitters. They will show England's first two games (Serbia, June 16 and Denmark, June 20) and Scotland's group games against Switzerland and Hungary (June 19 and 23).
The BBC also have first choice of the Quarter-finals and will show live games including Italy, World Cup runners-up France V the Netherlands (June 21), Spain, Belgium and Portugal plus two group games featuring the hosts Germany.
If Wales qualify, the BBC will also broadcast their group games against France and the Netherlands.
