BECKY SAUERBRUNN: We just want to make history. And we hold very high standards and have high goals for ourselves. And one of those things is do a back to back.

I'll just emphasize how great our sport performance group is here, and our medical staff, and what they do for us behind the scenes, that you see three of us on the field, but they do so much. And we are prepping already for the heat and humidity. We've done a bunch of testing. We're going to be in environment controlled rooms doing workouts to make sure that we can adapt to the humidity as quick as possible. So anything that we can do, our sport performance group is making it possible for us.

And I'm usually very anxious on game days, so for me a really important ritual is nap time or it's also just kind of like, listening to some tunes on the bus ride and just doing some visualizations. So I'm like, replaying plays in my head before I actually have to do them. But that seems to calm me down a little smidge.
