Beetlejuice Beetlejuice confirms streaming release date
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has confirmed a streaming release in the US.
The long-awaited sequel to Tim Burton's 1988 dark fantasy sees the return of Michael Keaton's titular poltergeist, Winona Ryder's Lydia Deetz and Catherine O'Hara's Delia Deetz, while Wednesday actor Jenna Ortega joins the cast as Lydia's teen daughter Astrid.
Following its release in cinemas in September, it's been confirmed that the film will be available to stream on Max in the US from December 6. The film will stream on Sky in the UK, but there is no word yet as to when it will be available.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice picks up decades after the first movie with a death in the family, leading Delia, Lydia and Astrid to return home to Winter River.
"Still haunted by Betelgeuse, Lydia's life soon gets turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter discovers a mysterious portal to the afterlife," the official synopsis reads.
"When someone says Betelgeuse's name three times, the mischievous demon gleefully returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem."

Other cast members include Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, Burn Gorman, Danny DeVito and House of the Dragon's Arthur Conti.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice debuted with a 'Certified Fresh' score of 76% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes following its release, falling just short of the original film's score of 82%.
"Michael Keaton's devious poltergeist still has plenty of juice left in this madcap return to form for Tim Burton, marrying charming practical effects and ghoulish gags to provide a fun fun time," reads the site's critical consensus.
In Digital Spy's review of the film, we said that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice "captures the crazed spirit of the original, even if not all of its good ideas come to fruition."
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice starts streaming on Max in the US from December 6. The film is available to buy or rent from Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store and more in the UK.
