Man reported missing off highway outside Yellowknife found

RCMP say Donovan Boucher, who was reported missing Thursday night, has been found.

Police thanked the public for their help in locating the 31 year old, in an update Friday afternoon.

Boucher, of Yellowknife, was last seen at around 11 a.m. on Thursday. According to a RCMP news release, he drove his car to kilometre 292 on Highway 3, and was expected to return that evening.

The release stated that RCMP located his vehicle near kilometre 292, but he was not inside.

"Anytime someone is out on the land and is late in returning in these temperatures, it can cause concern," RCMP spokesperson Marie York-Condon had said in an earlier news release.
