Ben Affleck and the 'Justice League' Assemble for the First Time at Comic-Con -- Check Out the Trailer!

To crib a catchphrase from another superhero cinematic universe, Justice League... Assemble!

Ben Affleck was on hand at Comic-Con on Saturday, not just to confirm that he is, in fact, directing the solo Batman movie, but also to join Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher for the Justice League's first group appearance.

Director Zack Snyder even debuted a "taste" of the movie, brand spankin' new footage that featured brewing tensions between Batman and Aquaman, no sign of Superman, and some much-appreciated LOLs courtesy of The Flash:

"Batman"

Affleck may have looked badass in a leather jacket, but he provided one of the more adorable moments of the Warner Bros. presentation, filming a video of the crowd on his phone as he joined his fellow directors onstage.

"I've never done this before. It's kind of nerdy, but this is such a big deal in my life," he said. "It's just not going to happen again. It's just a cool moment for me."

"Wonder Woman"

"It is overdue, but it also feels like the best time in the world to make this movie," director Patty Jenkins told the eager audience.

Wonder Woman herself, Gadot, chimed in, "It was important to portray this character in a way that everyone can related to."

The Batman v Superman actress said her take on Diana Prince has "the heart of a human and the strength of a goddess." "I watched a documentary movie about the real Princess Diana," she explained. "She said she leads from her heart, not from her head. I think that quote describes our Diana best."

Jenkins brought along the trailer for the film, which also includes Chris Pine as the "cool as hell" Steve Trevor -- "Someone who would never be emasculated by Wonder Woman," the director noted -- and the warrior women of the Amazons:

The first look includes plenty of iconic Wonder Woman elements -- the lasso of truth! -- but you probably noticed she's missing a certain form of transportation. "The invisible jet is not in this movie," Jenkins confirmed. "But it might be in the future."

"Suicide Squad"

In what could serve as a strong argument that the best is always saved for last, Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Scott Eastwood, Jai Courtney, Viola Davis and more hit the stage to amp Suicide Squad.

"I'm very excited! I'm just very excited!" Smith, who served as the unofficial hype man of the panel, exclaimed.

The 47-year-old actor noted that even his kids are stoked for this film -- which is apparently no small feat. "No matter how cool you think you are, your kids think you suck," he explained. "This is like the first time where I'm cool for real... My kids are doing what I say, at least for the next couple of months."

The duo behind Harley Quinn and The Joker provided standout moments of the morning, with Robbie pointing out, "Whatever everyone did in the film, I did in a pair of heels." Her onscreen other half was uncharacteristically quiet during the Q&A, offering up at the end, "I think if I open my mouth, this might get a little X-rated."
