  • This is reportedly the first time that the original Law and Order will be available to stream.

Cancel your plans indefinitely, because there are a ton of cases to crack in the criminal justice system and they’re coming to a television near you.

Deadline reported the best news we’ve heard all week: Law and Order, Law and Order: SVU, and Law and Order: Criminal Intent are all going to be available to watch this summer on NBC’s new service, Peacock. The shows were included as part of an overall deal with Dick Wolf, the mind behind the addictive crime franchise.

While you can still catch SVU on TV or on Hulu, this marks the first time ever that the original Law and Order will be available to stream. Which means all the Sam Waterston, S. Epatha Merkerson, and Jerry Orbach you can take. And when you need to move on to something new, you can just click on over to Criminal Intent or SVU. We know what we’re doing with the rest of our Saturdays...

The only downside is that we’ll have to wait until July 15, 2020 to access all the episodes. There will be a free ad-supported version of Peacock, or you can choose between two other options that cost either $5 or $10 depending on your cable provider.

It seems like a small price to pay for unlimited access to Law and Order, though, so we think we can handle it. If you’re still not sold, you can always purchase the series on Amazon—we would never judge you.
