The best TV picks for this weekend: Friday, 27 March to Sunday, 29 March
As more of us are spending time inside, naturally we are increasingly inclined to rely on television to keep us entertained.
Luckily, there is plenty on the box this weekend in the way of television and films to keep the whole family amused.
Friday evening kicks off with ITV showing Star Wars: The Force Awakens at 7.30pm, which will also be repeated on Sunday at 3.50pm.

Pilgrimage: The Road to Istanbul starts up on Friday too as famous faces including Adrian Chiles and Edwina Currie trek across Eastern Europe.
The best of Peter Kay can be seen at 9.30pm on BBC One as Comedy Shuffle compiles all of his best bits.
Meanwhile, Friday Night Dinner is also back as the award-winning sitcom launches into a sixth series.
On Saturday 28 March, kids can be kept occupied with Disney film Brave on BBC One at 5.15 on BBC One.
For those looking for some more light relief, Girls' Trip will be on Channel 4 at 9pm.
Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway has also adapted to the change in circumstances as it is set to air a pre-recorded episode of the show which is typically broadcast live.
Towards the end of the weekend, on Sunday 29 March there is more entertainment for little (or big) Minion lovers as Despicable Me 3 airs on ITV2 at 5.10pm.

Bradley Walsh is back screens at 7pm as he hosts quiz The Family Chase on ITV.
Finally, to round off the weekend, ITV’s Belgravia continues at 9pm.
When it comes to streaming there is a plethora of quality entrainment on offer too.
With the arrival of Disney+ to the UK, viewers can catch the first three episodes of the highly-anticipated Star Wars series The Mandalorian.
The weekend would also provide ample opportunity to get through the seven episodes of highly addictive Netflix docu-series Tiger King.
It explores the life of the eccentric Joe Exotic who for years collected exotic animals before a bizarre downfall.
It's so good it's got everyone talking, including Kim Kardashian who has weighed in with her theories on the goings-on.
If that wasn’t enough, season three of Ozark is also available on Netflix for binge-watching for fans of the crime drama.
Plus for those who haven’t started watching, there’s plenty of time to catch up on the first two instalments too.
