After a 3,000-sq-ft banquet hall and pavilion shelter for Arrowwood Farm were approved, the owners realized they needed a washroom.
The additional permitted use of up to 150 seats for the hall and pavilion at 6460 Riverside Drive was originally approved last fall. The applicant needed another approval from Southwest Middlesex council at its April 27 meeting to add 500-sq-ft of space for an outdoor washroom to accommodate all those extra guests.
The current Harvest Table venue is a popular place built in 1999 for weddings, concerts and other events. Blueberry picking is also part of the operation.
Noise mitigation for neighbours was a major consideration according to staff and council, who unanimously approved the site plan for the expansion that can go ahead after a couple more bureaucratic steps.
