Birthday card re-gifted 94 times

Reddit user LincolnsLostSpeach recently shared his family’s hilarious birthday tradition which happens to be a re-gifted card that was purchased in 1970 for 25 cents.

“This birthday card has been regifted…94 times,” LincolnesLostSpeach wrote along with posting a photo of the card.

He explains how over the last 47 years, his fiancee’s uncle and cousin have exchanged the same card back and forth.

The front of the card with the message “Happy Birthday to a Good-Looking Relative” appears to be ordinary. It’s the inside of the Hallmark card where the family’s hilarious tradition is evident. Along with message “Save this card. You can send it to me on my birthday,” are the names “Bill” and “Steve” scratched out with each passing year.

Guess Bill and Steve took the message quite literally and have been sending the card along ever since.

And as one Redditor pointed out it’s pretty impressive that neither one missed a year.
