Blackmarsh Road gas bar robbed again

2 St. John's drivers charged after traffic stops

A St. John's gas bar and convenience store has been struck by another armed robbery.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said that an armed woman entered the Ultramar gas station on the corner of Blackmarsh Road and Cashin Avenue just after 1 a.m. Wednesday and demanded cash from the clerk.

The woman did not have her face concealed during the robbery and she fled the scene with a small quantity of cash.

The RNC searched the area with a police dog, but did not arrest anyone.

The Ultramar gas bar was also struck by two separate robberies in June.
