BLACKPINK’s Rosé Unveils Brand New Partnership With Puma

BLACKPINK's Rosé is adding yet another name to the list of brands she represents. Rosé, who's currently an ambassador for both Saint Laurent and Rimowa, has joined forces with sportswear giant Puma as its newest face.

Puma officially announced Rosé had joined the Puma family on June 17, 2023, via a collab video post with the star on Instagram. In the video, Rosé is at an airport setting about to go through a customs control. When she hands off her “global” passport, the airport employee stamps it with a sign that reads: “Welcome to Puma.” As the video comes to an end, Rosé's voice proclaims: “A journey starts now.”

In the announcement video, Rosé is seen wearing baggy jeans and a track jacket by Puma. She also sports the brand's Palermo sneakers on her feet with a small bag on her shoulder. Rosé also rocks the same outfit in the promotional pictures unveiled after the announcement.

As fans would know, this is not Rosé's first partnership with a sportswear brand. Previously, the star and her fellow BLACKPINK members served as ambassadors for adidas for years.

As a brand, Puma has been making headlines in recent months for being on the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement's list, with its sponsorship of the Israel Football Association (IFA) cited as the reason. In late 2023, it was announced the brand had dropped the sponsorship after more than five years. The brand’s email communication with Reuters revealed the contracts were due to expire in 2024 and would not be renewed going into 2025, per Al Jazeera.
