Scarves are super versatile pieces that can be tied in a million ways, traditionally around the neck or head. However, as BLACKPINK's Jennie's latest outfit proves, you don’t have to resort to traditional styling to rock a scarf in 2024.

Recently, Jennie made her way to Paris to attend the Chanel fall-winter 2024 show and, of course, she gave us plenty of style inspiration during her stay in the French capital. Case in point: her wearing a scarf as a belt.

The BLACKPINK member recently took to Instagram to share a photo dump from her most recent Paris trip, and her ‘fit is convincing us to give the scarves in our closets a new use. After her Chanel fitting, Jennie enjoyed some free time in the city with her team members and opted for a casual look comprised of a cropped black jacket with statement buttons, a white tee, and some baggy jeans in a classic blue wash.

To elevate her jeans, Jennie chose to tie a silk scarf from Chanel around her waist, which she fit through the jeans’ belt loops. Jennie tied the scarf in a simple knot slightly to the side of her hip, giving an otherwise simple look a sophisticated edge.

Of course, the Chanel belt scarf is not the only accessory Jennie wore for her outing. She also rocked a black and brown mini bag from Maison Margiela, as well as chunky sport-style loafers on her feet. (Though not as chunky as the Balenciaga Crocs she once paired with an LBD!)

It looks like somewhere along the evening, Jennie switched into more comfortable shoes as she is rocking a pair of laceless New Balance sneakers in one of the latter pictures on the carousel while trying on the popular Acne Studios' puffy coated bomber jacket, which she later rocks in her PFW vlog, which you can watch below:
