Blake Lively Said No Shirt, No Bra, No Problem

Blake Lively, deep into her flower power era to promote her role as a florist in It Ends With Us, ditched the bra for a leather jacket moment in New York, and the result is pretty sexy.

Stepping out for the CBS Morning Show, the Blake Brown hair-care founder, who is famously self-styled, paired a black leather moto jacket with what looks like painted-on flowers with matching shorts. Shorts! She left the jacket unzipped to let her sternum peek through and show off a truly impeccable tan. Lively added a little glam with her earrings and bejeweled shoes, and of course, had her trademark blond waves on full display.

Contrast that with her bra-forward look just one day earlier, wearing Versace undergarments with low-rise jeans and a net top.

The Gossip Girl star actually styled this jacket two ways in one day. Also while out and about in the Big Apple, the mom of four swapped the shorts for a pencil skirt version and wore a floral top underneath (wouldn’t be surprised if the garment is actually a bodysuit). With a multi-strand necklace and rings on every finger, it was a much sparklier look, though the flowers were still the star of the show.

From the jump, Blake Lively has been fully committed to Method Dressing, following in the footsteps of Margot Robbie promoting Barbie and Zendaya promoting Challengers. Lively’s managed to work flowers into every conceivable part of her outfits (in fairness, there are already a lot of flower-themed items in the world), and recently took it to another level when she wore a whole garden in her hair. As Lively explained on Instagram, working with flowers has been a creative outlet and a stress reliever as long as she’s been an adult, so it’s nice to see her get to lean all the way in, bra or no bra.
