Winnipeg Jets captain Blake Wheeler quickly ran out of patience following his team’s elimination from the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Saturday.

Wheeler and the Jets lost to the St. Louis Blues in six games and during his post-game scrum, the Jets’ star didn’t take too kindly to a question asking him what happened to his team during Game 6.

Here is how the exchange went down:

Reporter: In the elimination game, you guys probably expected your best, right? What happened?

Wheeler: F— off. Please come on, man. I mean, like, you know, this is a tough trophy to win and maybe our best wasn’t good enough today.

Wheeler recorded a goal and four assists during the six-game series, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the scorching Blues. It’s easy to see why Wheeler would be frustrated as another excellent campaign from the Jets ends in disappointment.
