Bloc leader demands apology from Prime Minister over War Measures Act, says Quebecers don’t see themselves within Canada

Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet demanded that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau apologize to the Quebec people over the War Measures Act passed during the October Crisis in 1970, saying Quebecers don’t see themselves within Canada. Trudeau responded by refusing that argument and saying that just because the Bloc doesn’t see itself within Canada doesn’t mean Quebecers feel the same.
