‘Just let me lie and bleed awhile’: Senator Patrick Brazeau back on Twitter?
Senator Patrick Brazeau has reappeared — on Twitter. At about 7:35 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, @TheBrazman Tweeted this:
I'm wounded not, but I'm not slain. I'm brusied and faint they say Just let me lie and bleed awhile; I'll not be long this way. — SenPatrickBrazeau (@TheBrazman) February 22, 2013
Brazeau, who deactivated his Twitter and Facebook accounts shortly after being arrested for sexual assault two weeks ago, was last heard from publicly on February 12, the day his senate colleagues passed a motion which forced him to take a leave of absence.

Prior to his arrest Brazeau was active on social media. Unless the account was somehow hacked, it looks like @TheBrazman is back.
Brazeau's followers on Twitter didn't, however, give him a warm welcome. Several took the opportunity to criticize him for his alleged actions.
Care to comment on the woman you allegedly sexually and physically assaulted, @thebrazman? I'll be she's pretty effing wounded too. — Alheli Picazo (@a_picazo) February 22, 2013
@thebrazmanA layman's opinion: but maybe you should get off twitter, get some counselling, lay low & then ask Oprah 2 b on show #cdnpoli — gariovich (@gariovich) February 22, 2013
I would much rather hear that Patrick Brazeau is no longer a Senator than whether or not his Twit account is active.

@TheBrazman has not replied to any of the tweets to him.
It also appears that his Facebook account has been reactivated.
