Stuff the Duff: PEI man looking to profit off Mike Duffy’s troubles

An enterprising PEI man has decided to make some lemonade out of Mike Duffy's lemons.

Put more clearly, Llloyd Kerry has designed a new T-shirt — with the slogan 'Stuff the Duff' — inspired by fellow Islander Mike Duffy's recent troubles with regard to improperly-claimed living expenses and a $90,000 cash gift from the prime minister's chief of staff.

"I look at it as a funny way to protest," Kerry, a lab technician, told Yahoo! Canada News.

"People aren't going to march in Ottawa with picket signs saying dump Duffy. But this way they can voice their displeasure in a humourous way but still get the point across."

The T-shirts are $20 plus a couple of bucks postage depending on where you live. Shirts can be purchased via Kerry's Facebook page.

This is Kerry's second venture in the apparel business.

Earlier this year, he designed shirts inspired by a This Hour has 22 minutes sketch about employment insurance reform. He sold over 120 of those.

The Duffy one might do better. Aside from the fact that Kerry is becoming somewhat of a celebrity with interviews with the CBC and the Guardian, there seems to be such intense vitriol toward the senator.

In response to a recent Yahoo! Pulse of Canada question asking if Mike Duffy should quit the Senate, a vast majority of readers say 'yay.'
