Kourtney Kardashian Gives Birth to a Baby Boy on Mason's 5th Birthday
Reality TV's first family just keeps on growing.
Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday, Dec. 14. The little one will share a birthday with his big brother, Mason, who turned 5 on the big day.
"The family is freaking out with joy," a source told E! News. "What an amazing coincidence."
In October, Kourtney told E! News she had "some ideas" for a name, but was "stuck" for the most part. "I want to wait until the baby is born."

This is the third child for Kardashian, 35, and her longtime partner Scott Disick, 31. In addition to Mason, they are parents to daughter Penelope, 2. Kourtney announced she was expecting again on the most recent season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and later revealed the gender on her spinoff show, Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons.
“I’m so happy we’re having a boy,” Kourtney said after finding out the sex. “It’s going to be perfect for our family.”
"I love being pregnant in general." Kardashian told Fit Pregnancy in November. "This time I’m more tired than I was the other times. I think it’s because I’m always running around and working on different things. But I feel comfortable with how I look and feel. I find a pregnant body to be beautiful and an incredible reminder of what a woman’s body is made to do."

Kourtney certainly felt comfortable in her pregnant skin. She posed nude for DuJour magazine earlier this month. "I'm not embarrassed of my body. I'm at my best when I'm pregnant," she explained. "It's such an amazing feeling, the transformation that your body goes through. There’s something about that that's so empowering and beautiful and I just really embrace it."
The oldest Kardashian sister certainly had a fun time prepping for the arrival of her little boy with not one, but two baby showers. The first was thrown by her family in Beverly Hills and it was a Breakfast at Tiffany's themed event. Kim spoke to E! about how the idea originated.
"Originally I really wanted to have breakfast at Tiffany's, and so it's Kourt's favorite movie and so I watched it on a plane back from Paris…" she recalled. "We stopped at Tiffany's and they just said that they get millions of requests for that [having breakfast actually there, on the premises], so we kind of made our own Tiffany's... and we thought it was perfect."
Days after the extravagant affair, Kourtney had a much more low-key celebration… a pajama party at IHOP. "I have the best friends in the world! Sunday morning 9am IHOP in our pajamas! #fancyBabyShower," she shared alongside the below photo.
Kourtney's road to the delivery room, and relationship drama with Scott, is currently being played out on Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons.
