Busy Philipps celebrated her seventh wedding anniversary with a trip down memory lane.

The Cougar Town actress, who married screenwriter Marc Silverstein in 2007 (a lifetime ago in Hollywood years!), marked the milestone on Monday by posting gorgeous photos from their big day on Instagram — and sharing the story of how they surprised their family and friends with the secret wedding.

"7 years ago today, Marc & I invited our friends to what they thought was my surprise birthday party," the 34-year-old mom of two wrote. "When I showed up, everyone yelled surprise and Marc & I yelled it right back- since they had ACTUALLY been invited to our wedding."

She continued, "It was single handedly the most magical and fun day of my life and honestly, when things get tough (as in marriage THINGS DO) I think about that day, the feeling that was in that room, how my partner in life is my partner in crime (good crime, guys-like throwing fun parties) and how very VERY lucky I am."

The TV star posted three stunning snapshots from their big day. One of them, which showed off her tiny waist in her strapless gown, made the funnygal quip, "7 years ago today. I will never be that thin again."

Funny enough, some of Busy's wedding vows actually made it to the big screen. Silverstein wrote the screenplay for The Vow and incorporated some of what they said into Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams's wedding scene.

"That was a nice surprise for me," Busy told ABC News earlier this month. "Sometimes I read his scripts, sometimes I don't. I hadn't read The Vow script. I watched it on an airplane and was sobbing hysterically during the vows part because I saw my wedding vows in there with Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum saying them to each other!"

She joked that when they were writing the vows for their wedding, "It was interesting what he came up with, because obviously it was so beautiful and well written. I was like 'Oh really? You feel that about me? Oh, right — this is what you do for a living. Oh my God, you are so good at it!'"

Perhaps they'll take another crack at it when their 10th anniversary rolls around. A vow renewal celebration sounds perfect for the partners in crime who love throwing fun parties.
