Considering she didn’t major in Defence Against The Dark Arts, it’s a fair enough precaution.
Emma Watson was joined by an armed security guard while graduating from Brown University this weekend.
But like any undercover cop worth their salt, Emma’s blended into the setting seamlessly – by donning a cap and gown.
The female police guard’s disguise was later removed as Emma and her mother left the ceremony, revealing that she had been carrying a gun, presumably for the actress' protection.
This has the makings for a mismatched buddy comedy, if you ask us.
The 24-year-old actress earned herself a BA Hons degree in English Literature from the US Ivy League University, sharing a selfie on Twitter from the day with the caption '!'.
Emma first enrolled at the University in 2009 before having to put her studies on hold to film the final installment of Harry Potter.
She then transferred to Oxford University in 2011 where she met her now boyfriend Matt Janey before being forced to freeze her studies once again to film Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
Emma previously hit back at claims made by critics who said she would never graduate due to her hectic work schedule.
She said: “I don’t care [what people say]. This is what I want. And graduating will, for me, be really symbolic of all of that.
“I will be there. And I will be throwing a huge party. And getting very drunk.”
Looks like Ems proved them all wrong.
