If he's trying to invent a new sport called guitar-basketball, I support his efforts.

Lapps has produced three albums in his short career, his first when he was 14, according to his Facebook page. This video of him playing a cover of the song Phunkdified by Justin King has one millions views. He's also uploaded several videos of his guitar playing tricks to YouTube.

Watching them, you might think Lapps is surgically attached to his guitar. For example, he plays it while making breakfast.

In a video uploaded in April, Lapps demonstrates his impeccable fruit snack-eating skills, throwing candies into the air and catching them with his mouth while playing a song.

If he's not careful, his fans might expect him to combine all of those skills in concert. He'll have to make breakfast, eat fruit snacks and dribble a basketball all while playing the guitar.
