Adorable fox thinks white bed sheet is snow

Some scientists believe foxes have an innate sense of the earth’s magnetic field, which allows them to hunt smaller creatures buried deep in the snow.

Unfortunately, for one adorable fox, the perceived layer of snow was actually a white bed sheet, and the persistent animal did not get too far into the firm mattress.

Of course, the idea of animals thinking things are actually other things is, well, nothing new.

As for whether the fox had any success hunting the invisible creature below the bed sheet, we’ll never know.
