April Fool’s Day is upon us, and if you are the least bit gullible then you might find yourself falling for some of the pranks this year. So to stop this from happening to you, we’ve rounded up the best of what’s out there.

It’s no surprise WestJet got in on the action. The company doesn’t shy away from viral marketing with stunts like their “Christmas Miracles.” So for April Fool’s, they introduced “R.A.L.F.H,” a robot that delivers food and drinks right to your seat during your flight.

Politicians got in on the jokes, too. NDP Leader Tom Mulcair posted a photo showing him about to shave his beard, which is his signature look.

Meanwhile, Interim Conservative Leader Rona Ambrose posted on Twitter that she listed Stornoway, the residence for the leader of the official Opposition in Ottawa, on Airbnb for $29.4B per night.

Gmail users were not impressed with Google’s prank this year. A new feature the tech giant installed Thursday allowed people to send a GIF in response to emails with a click of a button. The GIF was of a Minion from the “Despicable Me” series dropping a microphone that the company dubbed “Gmail Mic Drop.”

The joke did not go over as planned. One user wrote on the Gmail Help Forum that he lost his job.

“I am a writer and had a deadline to meet,” the post reads. “I sent my articles to my boss and never heard back from her. I inadvertently sent the email using the ‘Mic Drop’ send button. There were corrections that needed to be made on my articles and I never received her replies. My boss took offense to the Mic Drop animation and assumed that I didn’t reply to her because I thought her input was petty (hence the Mic Drop). I just woke up to a very angry voicemail from her which is how I found out about this ‘hilarious" prank.’”

As a result of numerous complaints, Google dropped the feature.

Apparently, automaker Lexus thinks the driver should be stuck to their seat while driving. The company put out an impressive promo video of a car with Velcro seats.

New York Fries did a major overhaul of their brand for April Fool’s day. The company tweeted Friday that they had “aboot enough of being mistaken for American,” so they dubbed their famous chain “Toronto Fries” just for the day.

BlogTO tried to pull a fast one on Toronto Blue Jays fans by writing a post that claims the Rogers Centre would be renamed to SkyDome ahead of the team’s home opener next Friday. It didn’t take long for readers to catch on in the comments.

With all the buzz around Google’s self-driving car it’s only natural that the company launched a self-driving bicycle in Amsterdam. If only this was true. The e-bike comes with a feature that allows cyclists to request a pickup via an app on their smartphone.

In what arguably could be the best joke to come out of this year’s April Fool’s, Library and Archives Canada released historical documents on ‘Canadian supersoldier James “Logan” Howlett.’ The Facebook post features a photo of Hugh Jackman as the Wolverine as well as fake journals and military records.
