An Australian man has been banned from a gym chain after posting a picture of another member with mocking comments, according to a Facebook post.

The man became the latest target of an online justice campaign after his picture of a skinny man working out went viral.

The picture shows a man with a tattoo on his arm sitting on a machine and conspicuously holding up an iPad toward the mirror as he photographs someone in blue shorts. The caption says:

Here we see the Amazing Chicken Man. His 2% bodyfat is admired by bodybuilders and bulimic teenage girls alike. Unfortunately, he can't tell where his elbow joint ends and his bicep beings. He one day aspires to out-bech [sic] the other dudes at the gym, but unfortunately, he can't lift the bar yet — let alone the weights."

Someone who saw the message posted a screen capture of it to Reddit, and the anonymous masses turned into an anti-bullying justice force that one way or another, reached the man's mother, according to Gawker.

A screen shot of a later Facebook post says his mother was so enraged she tattled on him and gave the gym owner her son's phone number.

"Yeah, now my Mum has cut me off financially, I'm banned from not only that gym but the entire chain," the post says.

He later wrote he realized the post was rude. However, he added people mock him all the time for being fat, and if it had been him in that photo, he wouldn't have received as much sympathy.

Is he a victim-turned-bully or just a rude guy who should watch where he points his iPad?
