BBC journalist told off on-air for being too loud

A BBC journalist was recently interrupted on camera for being too loud and distracting during a political meeting.

BBC Points West's political editor Paul Barltrop was approached by a disgruntled citizen while Barltrop was broadcasting live from a European Parliament election debate at City Hall in Bristol.

Barltrop's segment ended almost immediately — after cameras showed the unhappy man whispering to Barltrop and his camera crew — and the on-air gaffe quickly became the bigger news story.

We're not sure which is more embarrassing: being reprimanded on-air for being too loud, or passing out on live television — and then trying to continue the interview.
