To celebrate the New Year, the Contilla Retirement Group in Essen, Germany, produced a calendar featuring some of its seniors.

Professional stylists and photographers turned the seniors, some in their 90s, into some of their favourite movie characters, recreating iconic scenes for the calendar called "Classics 2014."

Wilhelm Buiting, 89, donned a tuxedo and posed as James Bond. Erna Rütt, 86, and Alfred Kelbch, 81, recreated the famous "I'm flying!" scene from Titanic. And Erna Schenk, 78, hovered over London as everyone's favourite umbrella-traveling nanny, Mary Poppins.

According to the German press, 5,000 calendars were printed and distributed among the senior centre's staff, residents, and their families.

No word on how you can get your own calendar featuring the world's coolest seniors.
