Boyfriend plans Busch Gardens proposal complete with Harry the Hoffman

A Florida couple are engaged after a very special meet and greet with the amusement park’s famous sloth, Harry.

Walter Mccann took his sloth-loving girlfriend, Carly Corvin, to Busch Gardens where he had secretly planned a special meet and greet with Harry.

Corvin couldn’t get the smile off her face as she stood mesmerized by the mellow animal, laughing and giggling with Mccann as one of Harry’s handlers introduced him to the crowd.

But the surprises just kept coming.

When asked if she was ready to give Harry his afternoon veggie platter, she said ‘yes’ instantly. In doing so, she unknowingly walked straight into the trap Mccann had set up for her.

The handler asked Mccann if he would like to do the honour of revealing the sloth’s snack. He lifted the lid to reveal a proposal spelled out in carrots and peppers, then got down on one knee and presented Corvin with a ring.

She instantly said ‘yes’.

“I told him before that if he proposed with a sloth, there was no way I could say, ‘no.’ So, he took my good advice.” Corvin told Fox13. “This is literally the best day of my life for… everything!”

The newly engaged couple did get to feed Harry, who had probably been wondering what the hold up was on his lunch order.
