Americans no longer have to raid Canadian 7-11s on their treks north of the border – Ruffles’ All Dressed chips have arrived stateside.

The delicious and eternally hard-to-describe flavour is now available for a limited time nationwide, in two equally-snackable sized bags, until December 7th.

The leap over the border is a long time coming, as the flavour has been available in Canada for 15 years, where it quickly became the top-selling Ruffles chip.

“You don’t know quite what to expect when you put Ruffles All Dressed chips in your mouth,” said Dana Lawrence, senior director of marketing at Frito-Lay in a statement released to the press.

“That’s part of the charm and discovery. This is not a light and crispy chip. Ruffles All Dressed potato chips are for people looking for more – more ridges, more flavor, more fun.”

The news has been greeted with a lot of fanfare and finger-licking delight.

More of a Ketchup chip fan? The other famous Canadian flavour is not crossing the border anytime soon, but Americans can always snag a bag on Amazon – for $15. Or maybe make some Canadian friends.
