‘Canadian Dance Moves’ an endearing tribute to Canuck culture

Kudos to the gang at Van46 Digital, a Toronto-based new media collective and self-proclaimed "makers of videos, sometimes funny ones" for their recent YouTube release, Canadian Dance Moves.

The video, which has garnered over 150,000 views in just six days since its release, takes a loving poke at all things Canadiana, from canoes and curling to tapping kegs and skipping through goose poop:

According to The Huffington Post, the video was created on a shoestring budget by Van46 Digital members Liam Kearney, Stina Dios and Jeff Higgins.

"I enjoy making people laugh and I enjoy dancing, so I figured I could try and combine the two," Kearney told HuffPo.

It's probably not the next Gangam Style or Macarena dance craze, but we look forward to seeing some of these moves at the local pub, rink or hiking trail soon.
