How cold is it? Hell froze over

It happened: Hell froze over.

It's a good day to be a headline writer.

The rural community of Hell, Michigan, did not escape the freezing-everything polar vortex, and is experiencing wind chills today that are dipping to a frightful -25°C.

Heavy snowfall dumped on the small town of around 600 or so people — 666, most likely— creating conditions too impossible for even some snowplows to drive through.

Across the ocean, it's not exactly tropical in Hell, Norway, either.

While temperatures are currently hovering around freezing — weather forecasters predict a dip to -5°C by Friday — the village typically freezes over a third of every year.
