Creative way to fixing a windshield wiper during rainstorm

On a road trip, there’s nothing worse than something going wrong with the car. Add bad weather on top of that and things will get a whole lot worse.

In a recent YouTube video, a windshield wiper broke during a rainstorm and a group of friends figured out a creative way to deal with it.

According to the Reddit user ‘IndieKidNotConvert,’ who uploaded the video Monday, one of the wipers broke in the middle of their 14 hour road trip and got stuck between the car door and mirror.

As seen in the video, the broken wiper seems to be working properly. But then the driver yells “Faster, Faster!” The camera turns around to the backseat and you can see a guy sticking his hand out of the car window while tugging back-and-forth on a rope attached to the broken windshield arm in the front.

Surprisingly, he’s pulling in rhythm to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” blasting from the car radio. The music choice was definitely spot on for the occasion.

Apparently their new approach to fixing a broken windshield wiper was reliable enough to last a few more hours.

The video has already garnered nearly a thousand views on YouTube.
